The socks are for a forthcoming trip in September with a 7hour flight and coach travel which always make my ankles swell. I haven’t worn them yet but the quality looks good so I’m hopeful that I will have nice slim ankles throughout the trip.

I have had flight socks previously and they were amazing so I immediately thought of vital active and after some help from one of their representatives i got the correct size for her and I have her up and walking around with slimmer ankles and she says, its like walking on air now. Result we are both very pleased and i will be purchasing another pair for her shortly.

Here is my review:

As the knee highs are expensive, I only bought one pair to see how I got on. I was rather sceptical that they would work. However, I am not disappointed. After an entire day of wearing them for the first time, my legs felt better and I could almost claim I had ankles again. They have washed well and my fear that they would ladder appears foundless. My only tiny criticism of the excellent and fast service by Vital Active is I would have appreciated guidance on the best way of donning these socks as they are definitely not easy to put on. YouTube quickly gave me the knack. I will be repurchasing this item. I have also bought the tights but am saving them for when I have somewhere to go, or at least, allowed to go somewhere!

Disappointed

I was looking for compression socks due to varicose veins and according to the site the VR-Clara -140 Knee highs was the perfect product for me; to avoid mistakes on the size I included my leg measures. The socks arrived on time and worked well the first day, unfortunately after washing it with light soap when dried it lost its tension and compression, so I ended up with one of the socks, when walking, rolling down to the ankle. Unfortunately I can't use them anymore so it was a waste of money.

Very pleased with the product. Haven’t used them yet but I am sure they will be more than fine.

A product I feel confidence in

I have previously bought several pairs of compression socks from Vital Active and found them very good indeed. I have bought the Clara type to wear on holiday in warmer places. I have not worn them yet, but I have tried them on and am pleased that, despite having a much finer appearance than the other socks, they seem quite robust. I am confident they will be just as good.

Best I've bought

These are the best compression socks I've ever bought. The ones prescribed to me a couple of years ago were awful and since then I've been searching for better ones. These definitely fit the bill! I use a frame to put them on and they slide on really easily. The compression feels just right and I'm not at screaming point when I take them off at night. The tops are really comfortable and leave far less of a mark than any others I've used. My only (slight) gripe is that being short with fat legs, I have to buy the 4G which are a little longer than my calf. But folded over, they are still comfortable and well worth the money. So much so that I've ordered a second pair.

Great knee high socks nice colour and perfect fit they were perfect as I have just had a knee replacement and needed to replace teds to stop legs from swelling and are very comfortable.

Dug into me round the ankles

Can't fault the delivery it was very quick. However when I used these on a flight they left marks round my ankles. I measured very carefully and got the biggest size anyway. Not sure it is beneficial to wear them when they cut in like that. They were no better than just buying them anywhere else unfortunately.

Excellent customer service

After having some great help and advice from the support team, I purchased a pair of Clara knee highs. I have worn them to work a couple of times and recently on a short haul flight. At first I thought they were going to be too tight around my ankles but they fitted well and did not slip down as other brands have done in the past. I shall be purchasing some more from Vital Active. Thank you again.

They were great

With two long haul flights I was so glad that I choose to buy a pair of your flight sock. They were comfortable and you didn't feel that everyone knew that you were wearing them. I have always dismissed them because at one time they were like mens socks. As I had had a friend who had suffered with a DVT I felt that at my age I need a pair more than ever. Having been told recently that I had to wear stockings for lymphedema I was determined to find something that I was happy to wear and also helped my condition. Best product Ever

After suffering terrible achy tired legs when out walking even on going to the shops.I decided to give knee highs a try.I can honestly say its the best thing i could of done for my legs.They were easy to put on and very comfortable.Walking has become a pleasure no more tired achy legs,and the feeling of fatigue.I certainly will be buying more of these.For me i did find the knee highs better than the tights,only from the fact they were easier to get on.

I bought the socks for a long haul flight to New Zealand, which I am taking in January. But I feel I might benefit wearing them on a more permanent basis to help other problems with my legs. They are very comfortable.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND QUALITY

Delivered within 48 hours of ordering. Tried them on immediately and they are tight, as they are supposed to be, but comfortable. Relatively easy to get on. Got them for long plane journey so hope they do the trick. Bought Sand colour, which is very pale brown, and they look quite natural, so might be able to wear them for general walking abroad, as I get swollen ankles. Price reasonable and free delivery.

I suffer from post thrombotic syndrome resulting in swollen feet and ankles. These knee highs are more comfortable and more effective than the compression hosiery prescribed by my doctor. They also have the added advantage of looking "normal", unlike the prescribed hosiery. Will definitely be ordering some more.
